Transfer Admission Requirements
To apply for transfer admission to Penn State Law, students must have completed at least one full year of study at an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school. It is vital to note that Penn State Law does not accept applications from individuals who have already earned a J.D. degree.
Students who transfer to Penn State Law from another law school must be in residence for four semesters and earn at least 56 credits from Penn State Law. A total of 88 credits are required to earn a J.D. from Penn State Law.
